Dr. Filiz Hoetten, General Practitioner

A graduate and past faculty member of Dalhousie School of Dentistry, Dr. Hoetten has been practicing at Gladstone Dental Centre for more than fourteen years. Originally from Turkey and raised in Germany where she worked as a Dental Technician, Dr. Hoetten focuses in her practice on fixed and removable prosthodontics including crowns, bridges, partial and complete dentures. A current member of the R.V. Tucker Study Club, she is actively involved in learning new methods of restorative dentistry that provide aesthetically pleasing and long lasting dental restorations.

Barbara Ann Doyle, Certified Dental Assistant

With a background in early childhood education in St. John's and more than six years dental assistance experience, Barbara is dedicated to providing quality customer service. A cooperative and enthusiastic team player, Barbara is able to quickly calm and reassure even the most apprehensive patient. With a nurturing, helpful nature and the ability to bond with all patients, Barbara is an exceptional dental assistant. Active in continuing education, she has been recognized with special awards in Knowledge of Theory, Professional Development and Excellence in Field Placement
